Hand rejuvenation is a non-surgical injectable treatment that restores volume to the backs of the hands, reducing the appearance of prominent veins, tendons and hollow areas for a smoother, more youthful appearance.
Hand rejuvenation involves injecting a suitable dermal filler into carefully selected areas on the backs of the hands. The filler adds volume beneath the skin, helping to soften visible veins, tendons and hollow areas. The procedure typically takes approximately 20–40 minutes, depending on the treatment plan. Results from hyaluronic acid fillers are usually visible immediately, although some swelling may temporarily affect the final appearance. A consultation is required to assess your suitability, discuss expected results and select an appropriate product.
With hyaluronic acid dermal fillers, an improvement in hand volume is usually visible immediately. Final results are best assessed once any swelling or bruising has settled, usually within one to two weeks.
Results commonly last approximately 6–18 months, although longevity varies depending on the filler used, individual metabolism, treatment technique and lifestyle factors. Some products may last longer.
You may feel some discomfort during the injections. Many hyaluronic-acid fillers contain a local anaesthetic, and additional comfort measures may be used where appropriate.
Many fillers made from hyaluronic acid can be dissolved using an enzyme called hyaluronidase when clinically appropriate.

Follow the aftercare instructions provided by your doctor. You may be advised to avoid touching or applying unnecessary pressure to the treated area and to temporarily avoid certain activities that could worsen swelling or bruising.
The treatment plan can be tailored around subtle enhancement and facial balance. Our doctor will discuss realistic outcomes with you and recommend treatment based on your individual anatomy
