Trigger finger release.

Trigger finger release surgery, also known as trigger finger surgery or tenosynovectomy, is a medical procedure performed to alleviate the symptoms of a condition called "trigger finger" or "stenosing tenosynovitis." Trigger finger is a condition in which one of the fingers or the thumb gets stuck in a bent position and then straightens with a snap, like pulling and releasing the trigger of a gun. This condition is usually caused by inflammation of the tendons in the affected finger.
