Hip Resurfacing.
Hip resurfacing is a surgical procedure that involves replacing the damaged or diseased surfaces of the hip joint with metal components. Unlike traditional total hip replacement, which involves removing the entire femoral head and neck and replacing them with a metal stem and ball, hip resurfacing preserves more of the patient's natural bone.
