High Tibial Osteotomy HTO.
High tibial osteotomy (HTO) is a surgical procedure performed on the upper part of the tibia (shinbone) to treat certain conditions affecting the knee joint. The goal of this procedure is to realign the weight-bearing axis of the knee, thereby relieving pressure on damaged or arthritic areas of the joint.
