Hip Impingement.
Hip impingement, also known as femoroacetabular impingement (FAI), is a condition characterized by abnormal contact between the hip bones. The hip joint is a ball-and-socket joint, and impingement occurs when there is abnormal friction between the ball (head of the femur) and the socket (acetabulum). This can lead to pain and limited range of motion in the hip.
